Overview: Responsible for assisting customers with department relevant product solutions - including home decor items such as lighting, vanity, closet storage and toilets. Essential Duties: • Advise customers with the proper products to successfully complete their project. • Basic to advanced product knowledge in the areas of selection of product, complimentary products etc. • Stock and maintain retail product. • Answer incoming phone calls in a timely manner. • Participate in all team meetings and product training. Job Particulars • Part-time, 25-28 hours on average. • Able to adjust schedule as department needs arise. • Must be willing to work Saturdays and evenings. Education, Experience, and Skills • High School or equivalent education. • Basic understanding of customer needs in home decor. • Ability to make sound and confident recommendations to customers in regards to items such as a vanity, lighting, closet storage etc. items. • Ability to provide a great customer experience in a retail environment. • Adept listener with a teachable attitude. • Proven and reliable work ethic. • Flexibility to work in an often fast-paced changing environment. • Proficient computer skills.
