POSITION SUMMARY Continues development of the overall inventory accuracy by way of maintaining the processes related to that of physical inventory cycle counting, inventory valuation analysis, and inventory reporting. Works to achieve organizational unity across all departmental processes that can and do impact inventory valuation starting from point of purchase through point of sale. This includes purchasing product, receiving product, stocking product, retrieving product, transferring product, defectives product and selling of product. The inventory control specialist works closely with the accounting staff to ensure proper and accurate inventory.

Inventory Control and Reporting ● Assist the merchandise Division Manager with setting a physical inventory plan ● Ensure execution of physical inventory plan for each location ● Develop systems to ensure the accuracy of QOH ● Review major QOH changes ● Work with Division Managers and sales staff on location procedure for updating item locations yearly for each store. ● Works collaboratively with buyers and staff to identify and then resolve any and all problems that may negatively impact accurate inventory levels ● Works with merchandise Division Manager to set desired overall shrinkage goal and works and develops processes to drive down shrinkage to meet set objectives ● Develops and maintains processes that impact inventory control across locations such as defecting product, transferring, returning product to vendors and the way product is purchased and received. ● Documents and maintains processes and procedures for your position ● Accurately records number data and presents inventory status reports quarterly or when requested.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Basic Requirements Personal Knowledge

SKILLS & ABILITIES Education: Business degree Experience: 2+ years of inventory control experience Computer Skills: Able to design, create and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel Other Requirements: ● Be able to work a flexible schedule ● Must have an ability to work well in groups ● Professional goal oriented team player LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to in English read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to guests and other team members of the organization. Ability to use paging system within premises. ● Responding to overhead intercom announcements or radio communication o Requires ability to respond to guest calls, personal pages and general information announcements.

● Moving and Standing o Requires moving around the store to assist guests ● Identifying and reading reports, tickets and UPC labels o Requires recognizing, identifying and using merchandise and necessary reports.
