Overview: This job requires a dedicated team member who can organize and efficiently restock the department. The job also requires a friendly team member that enjoys people and serving guests by helping them purchase the right product for their needs.
Essential Duties: Assists guests with questions regarding housewares and food products - including vacuums, small appliances, and kitchenware. Stocks shelves from incoming shipments - particularly on Tuesdays and Thursdays with our main supplier Do it Best. Regularly puts away overstock from the department floor and from the lower warehouse area. Learns and understands about the products in the department in order to best serve our guests.
Job Particulars Part-time hours: Need to be able to work Wednesday and Saturday as a minimum. Store hours are 8a-7pm Monday-Friday and 8a-6pm on Saturday. 20-25 hours/week Must be willing to work evenings until 7pm and Saturday. Must be able to lift 60 lbs continuously. Must be able and willing to climb up on an 8’ ladder.
Education and Experience Retail sales a plus Enjoys routine work Able to take on tasks by themselves
