About the position:

The Vice President of IT provides strategic direction and oversight in the areas of Infrastructure, Programming, Security, Applications, Help Desk Services, and Data Strategy. They also support and execute IT strategy through multiple channels and categories including ecommerce. The Vice President of IT implements an overall IT strategy that includes the technological pieces of all other departments. They will lead a cohesive team of driven IT team members to give internal and external customers an efficient, secure, and engaging digital experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Enable the achievement of company goals with effective IT strategies and excellent project management using Agile methodologies. • Assist in the creation and analysis of data gained through data mining and timely reporting. • Lead all pieces of the IT team in a way that maximizes their effectiveness with an eye towards each part’s contribution without duplicating efforts while achieving tasks in a prioritized manner. • Foster a departmental culture that models our commitment to serve others so that peer departments look forward to their interactions with IT. • Partner with the other IT leaders to achieve the goals and responsibilities for their departments. • Develop the budget for IT and assist with other departments in their planning and budgeting for technology. • Be an organizational thought leader and initiator of interchanges on IT strategies and tactics. • Stay current on the latest technological trends and digital developments, and educate others on how these may help achieve organizational goals. • Perform all other duties relevant to IT and leadership in general as is necessary or requested by the CEO.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or a related field and 15+ years of progressive leadership experience preferred. Master’s Degree is a plus. • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills as well as project management skills.
